Housing delivery in Dublin remained strong in Q1 2026, with 3,060 completions and 2,921 new commencements - up 182% year-on-year. Average residential rent in Dublin reached €2,165 per month in Q4 2025, near the all-time peak of €2,173 set in Q3. Rents outside Dublin grew faster - up 4.9% in the Greater Dublin Area and 4.8% outside it. The report notes that changes to Ireland's rental framework introduced in March 2026 may place further upward pressure on the market.
